Jane Cuevas, (b. 1993) is a MADE semi-finalist and a Graphika Manila Book featured artist whose body of work encompasses a cheeky and affirmative representation of femininity that aims to connect with current events and contemporary life. Her distinct visual style is influenced by a multitude of personal, artistic, and naturalistic references that reflect the gravity of her own experiences. Jane’s art is an exploration of numerous color combinations and delicate line details, subconsciously drawn layer by layer until it forms a reflection of her mundane life, upbringing and where her imagination takes her. She took up a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and worked as a college instructor and graphic designer before pursuing her passion for painting.
